UH-OH! MY CENTRAL VAC HOSE IS CLOGGED!

Uh-oh! My Central Vac Hose is Clogged!Did someone leave a sock under the bed again? Did the cat toy escape your notice on the living room rug? Never fear. You can unclog a central vacuum hose easily and quickly with one of these techniques.

Detach the hose from the power inlet. Drop a kitchen butter knife or other small, heavy object down the hose, then shake, sling or twist the hose until the object falls out. As an alternative, you can snake your garden hose through the vacuum hose. Just don’t turn the water on!
